Chief AI Officer (CAIO) The Unicorn of AI Jobs 🦄 for Business

This week's tip: What is a CAIO (Chief AI Officer) and what do they do?

If you haven’t heard of a Chief AI Officer, it’s one of the newer roles on the scene.

A C-level executive in charge of determining and implementing the AI strategy.

Organizations are trying to keep up with the insanely fast pace of AI adoption.

The learning curve is steep, and change is happening at breakneck speed.

So they're turning to CAIOs to help navigate the chaos.

A great CAIO serves a specialist for accelerating an organizations’ understanding, planning and mobilization of critical AI efforts.

The Chief AI Officer is an important catalyst role as AI needs to be integrated and become central for businesses to get the full benefit.

Here are the roles and duties of a CAIO:

Disclaimer: While the CAIO is capable of steering many of the strategic and high-level tasks within an "AI-Operated Business", the successful operation of such a business would require a collaborative effort across multiple roles and departments.
