Ever wondered how to seamlessly integrate AI in business? I've been there, and I want to share a straightforward, three-step approach that works for me:
1. Embrace AI Literacy
Start by understanding what AI really is. For me, this knowledge was essential. It's not just about tech; it's about grasping the potential of AI to rethink tasks, content creation, and processes. Knowing the what and the how of AI opens a world of opportunities.
2. Understand AI's Capabilities
This step is all about realizing what AI can do for you. When I first explored AI models like ChatGPT and GPT-3, I was amazed by their versatility in generating text, aiding workflows, and even creating multimedia content. However, it's crucial to identify which processes will benefit most from AI integration.
3. Start with What You Know
Implementing AI in internal workflows was a breakthrough for me. It's incredible how AI can boost efficiency and drive revenue using the same resources. Starting internally also gives a real sense of AI's strengths and limits, paving the way for more customer-centric AI applications later on.

Investing time in learning prompting is definitely a good idea. At least for the time being.
But as important as I think prompting is, the question remains "how far will that take you?"
In the future, prompt engineering won't be the biggest requirement. It's about AI Literacy. And here's why:
- If you ask yourself "what skills should I develop to be competitive in the next wave of the workforce?" The answer can't be one skill (prompting) but a competency (AI).
- AI tools and use cases are exploding across every industry. Literacy in this technology is rapidly becoming essential.
